It is wholly owned by the Indonesian Government and employs 6,285 staff (at March 2007). The airline is based in Jakarta at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, and also has a hub at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali. The airline flies to a number of destinations in South-East,East Asia, the Middle East and Australia. It also previously flew to several destinations in Europe and North America. Key Responsibilities :
Prepare & present 5 star cuisine to First Class passengers with the utmost care and attention to detail
Ensure all areas of the Galley are clean, hygienic and tidy at all times
Must be able to interact with Passengers with confidence information on the First Class menu
Work as a key member of the First Class Cabin Crew as required
Build rapport with passengers aiming for a high level of customer satisfaction
Be flexible about work rosters that may vary due to ever changing business needs and staffing situations
Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and personal grooming at all times
Skills and Basic Qualifications :
Experience at a 5 Star Hotel or Restaurant as a Chef de Partie is desirable
Internationally recognized Chef Apprenticeship or Journeyman qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Prior health & safety training is preferable
Ability to work under pressure and as a part of a team reporting to the Flight Service Manager (FSM)
Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and reliability
Must be enthusiastic and customer focused
